A sound speaker, often simply referred to as a “speaker,” is a fundamental component in audio systems that converts electrical signals into sound waves, allowing us to hear music, speech, and various audio content. Here’s a description of the key components and how a typical sound speaker works:

Key Components:

Diaphragm (Cone): The diaphragm, usually made of lightweight and rigid materials like paper, plastic, or metal, is the part of the speaker that vibrates to produce sound waves. It’s often conical or dome-shaped.

Voice Coil: The voice coil is a wire coil attached to the back of the diaphragm. When an electrical current flows through the voice coil, it interacts with the speaker’s magnetic field, causing the diaphragm to move back and forth.

Magnet: A permanent magnet (typically made of materials like ferrite or neodymium) is placed around the voice coil. The interaction between the magnetic field and the current in the voice coil results in the motion of the diaphragm.

Suspension (Spider and Surround): The suspension components, including the spider and surround, provide support for the diaphragm’s movement. They allow the diaphragm to move while maintaining its position and alignment.
